Finance and Administration Officer
Salary range: SCP 18 - 23 (£15.21 - £16.67) dependent of experience
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 22 hours per week to cover 3 days per week
Location: Poringland Community Centre and other locations from time to time
Poringland Parish Council currently have a vacancy for a Finance and Administration Officer.
Poringland is a village located south of Norwich, with the village expanding the Parish Council are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team.
The Post
Financial and administrative support is a key function for the Parish Council. This Finance and Administration Officer post is a busy and varied role and is located in our Community Centre, you will report to the Clerk and Finance Manager whilst working alongside our Administration Team in the effective running of the Community Centre and the Parish Council. The role will involve a variety of high-level finance and administration tasks, working in an environment where we pride ourselves on professionalism and efficiency.
The Person
Our ideal candidate will be a resilient professional who has experience of working in a busy and fast-moving office environment. They will have a background in finance, and an ability to build successful relationships across the council and community. An understanding of working in a local authority would be advantageous and experience with Rialtas would be desired.
